Know if ChatGPT uses your site — and what it's worth.
- ReadGPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot crawling your pages for training and search.
- Used in answersChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity opening a page live because a person asked about it.
- VisitsPeople who clicked your link in the answer — and the pages they landed on.
- RevenueSignups and payments from those visitors, through Stripe, Paddle or any checkout.
Plus a robots.txt check per assistant, so you notice when a rule quietly blocks one of them. Crawlers don't run JavaScript, so a 15-line snippet for Next.js, Cloudflare, Express or WordPress reports them from your server.
How AI Visibility worksWhat AI says about you, and how to get into the answer
Add the questions your customers ask an assistant before they buy. PageLens asks them every day and shows whether you are named, who is named instead, and which pages the answer was built from.
- A plan for every questionThe lists to get added to, the threads to join, the page you still need to write.
- Checked against your own trafficIf AI reads your page and never uses it in an answer, you see that too. Tools that only watch answers can't.
- Included in every plan3 questions on Starter, 10 on Pro, 25 on Business. No add-on price.
From "what happened" to "why" without switching tools.

Questions, answered.
Do I need a cookie consent banner?
No. PageLens doesn't use cookies, local storage or any other identifier stored on the visitor's device, and it doesn't collect personal data — so there is nothing to ask consent for. As always, check with your own legal advisor for your specific situation.
Where is my data stored?
In the EU. PageLens runs on servers and a database in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Railway's EU region). IP addresses are never stored: they're only used, together with the user agent and a salt that's deleted every day, to count unique visitors. See the privacy policy for every provider we use.
How do you count unique visitors without cookies?
Each request is turned into a one-way hash of the IP address, user agent, your site ID and a random salt that changes every 24 hours. The IP itself is never stored, and once the salt is deleted the hash can't be linked to anyone.
How do you know ChatGPT used my page?
When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity a question, the assistant often opens the pages it cites right then, with agents named ChatGPT-User, Claude-User or Perplexity-User. PageLens counts those fetches per page as "used in answers", separately from crawlers like GPTBot that read pages for training and search. Because these bots don't run JavaScript, a short snippet on your server (Next.js, Cloudflare, Express, WordPress or a plain HTTP call) reports them. People who then click your link in the answer are counted as visits from AI, with their signups and revenue.
Can I see which sources bring revenue?
Yes. Connect Stripe or Paddle with a webhook (one URL and a signing secret), or send pagelens.track('purchase', { revenue: 49, currency: 'USD' }) from any checkout. Each payment is attributed to the visit it came from, so the Revenue page shows money by channel, referrer, UTM campaign, country and landing page. PageLens only receives payment notifications — it can't read or charge anything in your Stripe or Paddle account.
Will it slow down my website?
No. The script is under 4 KB gzipped, loads with defer so it never blocks rendering, and sends data with the browser's beacon API in the background.
Does it work with single-page apps?
Yes. Route changes through the History API (React Router, Next.js, Vue Router and others) are tracked as pageviews automatically.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Invite teammates by email as admins (can edit goals, funnels and settings) or viewers (read-only).
What does it cost?
Starter is $5/month (or $50/year) for 3 websites and 20,000 events. Pro starts at $12/month for 10 websites and 150,000 events; Business starts at $29/month with unlimited websites and session replay. Both grow with your traffic — use the slider above to see the price for 500k, 1M, 2M or 5M events a month, and contact us beyond that. Yearly billing gives you 2 months free. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time.
How does the free trial work?
Every new account gets 7 days of PageLens with Pro limits, no credit card required. When the trial ends, data collection pauses until you choose a plan — everything collected during the trial is kept.
What happens if I go over my limit?
Nothing breaks. We keep collecting your data and let you know so you can upgrade. Collection only pauses if a site reaches double its plan's monthly limit.
